What is the dress attire?

Black Tie Optional - Our celebration will be black tie optional. Gentlemen may wear tuxedos or dark formal suits. Women are encouraged to wear formal gowns, though sophisticated cocktail or midi-length dresses are also perfectly acceptable for our summer celebration. Think elevated, elegant, and festive!

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy the evening, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Will there be transportation to the wedding and back

Transportation will be provided to and from Ameristar for our guests. We encourage you to utilize this service, and you’ll be able to indicate your intent to ride the shuttle when submitting your RSVP online.

What if I choose not to take the provided transportation?

On-site parking is available for guests who choose to drive. Kindly note that overnight parking is not allowed at the venue. *Important: Ride share availability is inconsistent near the venue, we highly encourage utilizing the shuttles or making different arrangements.

What will the weather be like?

Warm daytime temperatures: July in Idaho Springs typically sees highs in the mid-70s°F (around 75–80°F / ~24–26°C). Nights are much cooler, often dropping into the upper 40s to low 50s°F (8–10°C) as the sun goes down. Chance of afternoon showers: Summer in the Colorado mountains often brings afternoon thunderstorms or brief rain showers, so guests should be prepared for potential shifts in weather, even if the day starts sunny. Comfortable but layered: Because of the elevation, evenings cool off quickly, so layers like a light wrap or shawl are recommended for comfort after sunset. Overall, mid-to-late summer in Idaho Springs is seasonably warm but with refreshing cool nights and a chance of mountain rain, making it a beautiful time for an outdoor celebration

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, weather permitting, allowing guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. Dinner and dancing will follow under a beautifully appointed tent for the evening celebration.
