Wedding Party

Mike Greene
Mike Greene - Father of the Bride
The notion that Mike and Maddie are cut from the same cloth is an understatement (to both the joy and dismay of those around them). As her very first best buddy, Mike showed Maddie the wonders of the world. Before she could even walk, they were exploring concerts, sporting events, museums, and of course one of their favorite places– the airport. To this day you will likely find this pair enjoying the simple things in life, and almost certainly trying to make folks laugh along the way. There are few forces as magnetic as Mike Greene, and the attendees of a certain shindig on July 31st 2026 should brace themselves for some seriously impressive dance moves. Moral of the story: Maddie is one lucky lady to have Mike as her dad!
Linda Greene
Linda Greene - Mother of the Bride
Maddie met Linda 9 months before she knew anyone earth side– but to this day she’ll claim that this bond is so strong they must’ve known each other in a past life. The Donna to her Sophie, the Lorelai to her Rory, the Moira to her Alexis…Linda isn’t just a mom, she is THE cool mom. Her creativity, generosity, and fabulous style have influenced Maddie every step of the way. From gardening and cooking, to reading and shoe shopping, nearly all of Maddie’s hobbies/skills/interests can be tied back to something she learned from her greatest teacher. Linda is the best role model and pal a girl could ask for...and whenever Maddie is complimented, she is gleefully excited to deliver one of her favorite lines: “Thank you! I got it from my Mamma”.
Pam Seiler
Pam Seiler - Mother of the Groom
Matt has known Pam longer than anyone on this planet, and she hasn't let him forget it. If you ask Pam, Matt's baby years were the most peaceful stretch of her life. A quiet, low-maintenance dream child, the opposite of his loud, needy sisters Emily and Hannah. Pam has ALWAYS been there for her boy, never missing a childhood bedtime tuck-in, never missing any sporting events, and never being more than a call away. She is absolutely the most supportive, caring, and selfless mom, and Matt wouldn't trade her for the world.
Hal Seiler
Hal Seiler - Best Man / Father of the Groom
After a slightly traumatizing experience, Matt first met Hal in a cold hospital room. After a brief lapse in memory for the next few years, some of Matt’s favorite memories are growing up with Hal as his baseball coach, going to every home Colorado football game together, road trips where Hal refused to let anyone else drive, and posting up in the lounge chairs on the back porch watching Rockies games. Matt's best friend since day one, he absolutely couldn’t imagine anyone else standing next to him at the altar!
Delaney Hayes-Myers
Delaney Hayes-Myers - Maid of Honor
There was a time when Maddie & Delaney were considered to be a civil union. Sure, they shared one braincell. Sure, they dubbed each other “last roommates before marriage”. At the end of the day… they were just two gals who met freshman year at DU, trauma bonded over Intro to Biology, and never looked back. Maddie considers Delaney to be one of the funniest people ever, and she always appreciated her willingness to share her clothes. These two have experienced many of life’s chapters together, and Maddie will go on record saying if they could survive backpacking in Europe together– they can survive anything!
Kelsey Johnson
Kelsey Johnson - Maid of Honor
Notorious for her love of Sonic and good gossip (particularly when enjoyed together), Kelsey is an absolute delight– and Maddie counts her lucky stars for her. After meeting at soccer practice freshman year of high school, the friendship escalated quickly. From then on they were sharing earbuds, parking side by side, and somehow managing to align their injuries (concussion protocol is so much more fun when you have a partner!). Those lucky stars kept them on track, and even after going their separate ways for college…here they are today still chatting about their big girl jobs and big girls dreams. If you catch these two giggling in a corner, don’t bother trying to break it up!
Abby Javernick
Abby Javernick - Bridesmaid
On one fateful evening freshman year of college, Maddie met Abby. It was their first Delta Zeta pledge meeting, and Maddie was seated in the very last row against the wall. Prime real estate according to Abby who thought that should be HER spot. After quickly discovering a shared love of sarcasm and deeply specific Spotify playlists, they put their seating differences aside & locked the friendship in. If lost, they can surely be found spam texting each other as they watch their favorite shows or finding a new whimsical activity to enjoy on a week night. Maddie is eternally grateful to have Abby by her side, & Matt is fully aware of the grand future plan involving several acres of land and a friendship compound (stay tuned…).
Brooke Gerrie
Brooke Gerrie - Bridesmaid
Maddie met Brooke under extremely high pressure circumstances: 3rd grade soccer practice. They bonded over their competitiveness and love for the sport– plus the post game snowcones were pretty sweet. To Maddie’s delight, they were able to take their friendship off the field and found themselves to be steadfast friends throughout their school years. To this day, Brooke is one of Maddie’s all time favorite people, and Maddie is blessed to call her a fellow state champ (go jags) and one of her most treasured friends. On their annual trips to Austin, Maddie & Matt were always excited to see Brooke (and her husband Adam!!) because nothing says these old school friends are back together like queso and some spicy margaritas!
Emily Johnson
Emily Johnson - Bridesmaid
Emily was the first person from Matt’s family that Maddie had the pleasure of meeting– and it was under what one may call “unconventional” circumstances. Back in the friend-zone era, Maddie and her friend accompanied Matt to the Kenny Chesney concert where they would meet Emily & her husband Chris, and then indulge in country music, Colorado sun, and a couple adult beverages…ask Em for the real details. Maddie immediately gravitated towards Emily– must’ve been the older sister energy– and over the years they’ve bonded over a shared love for dive bars (shoutout Don’s and Charlie Brown’s), Taylor Swift, and a nice oaky red. Emily is exactly who you would want as your older sister, and Maddie is thrilled she hit the jackpot!
Erin Tornello
Erin Tornello - Bridesmaid
With a lasting relationship of over 25 years, Maddie and Erin refer to themselves as the most successful arranged friendship (probably in history but don’t fact check them). With all of these years comes a whole lot of experiences– playing elaborate imaginative games with beanie babies, sharing sleeping bags at summer camp, and occasional appearances at DU parties…just to name a few. Erin is a multi talented-wonderfully courageous-exuberantly fabulous goofball, and Maddie is blessed to have grown up with her. Shout out to Megan and Linda for arranging a toddler playdate many moons ago, Maddie’s life has surely been changed for the better because of it.
Hannah Englar
Hannah Englar - Bridesmaid
When Maddie met Hannah, it was Maddie’s first time at Casa de Seiler– and it was Christmas. No pressure at all. Hannah was instantly the life of the party, and she challenged the family to a highly competitive gingerbread contest. Once again…no pressure at all. Despite hand crafting a Ralphie out of fondant, Maddie quickly realized she was partnered with the younger brother and therefore on the losing team (let it be known, Hannah & her husband were using hot glue which feels morally questionable). Hannah is deeply funny, stunningly confident, and Maddie is always excitedly anticipating the next time she will come back into town. Afterall, who else can she discuss Love Island, feminist theory, and musical theater with? (p.s. If you see Hannah at the wedding, don’t make her sing…)
Maddie Kincaid-Zink
Maddie Kincaid-Zink - Bridesmaid
The Maddies (™) met early in college, but the magic really started when Greene asked Kincaid to be her roommate for their semester abroad junior year. This decision from Greene seemed impulsive, but in reality she thought Kincaid was super cool, super fun, and absolutely someone she wanted to get closer with…and she wasn’t wrong! These two had a ball, running around Southern France with a paint brush in one hand and une verre de rose in the other. The friendship transcended international waters, and there’s a good chance you’ll see them exploring Denver today (probably holding the same tools). When asked, Maddie Greene will confidently say that the best thing her French Minor gave her was Maddie Kincaid.
Macie Trosien
Macie Trosien - Bridesmaid
There is rarely a memory Maddie has from college that does not involve Macie. For 4 years, they enjoyed activities such as binge watching Glee in their room at the DZ House, aligning their schedules so they could go (or not go) to classes together, and stealing fraternity composites in the dead of night. Some may have called them troublemakers, but Maddie prefers the label “visionaries”. Although they are much more domesticated today, Macie is still Maddie’s go-to gal for having a good time (and snack recommendations). She is goofy, she is adventurous, she is kind, and she is the only person who can rival Mike Greene on the dance floor...game on!
Haley Tettleman
Haley Tettleman - Bridesmaid
In 5th Grade, Haley invited Maddie to Vacation Bible School– and that kickstarted the journey. Nearly inseparable, Maddie & Haley were always getting up to something…whether that was recording music videos on iMovie, diligently watching reality TV, or inventing new desserts that would inevitably give Maddie a stomachache. Their friendship experienced a lot of “firsts” (like Maddie’s first PG13 Movie in theaters, shoutout to Zac Efron in 17 Again), and a lot of enduring lessons (maybe they didn’t need to fry their curls off with straightening irons for the majority of middle school?). Haley always knew what to do & how to look fabulous while doing it– a statement just as true then as it is today.
Hugh Fleming
Hugh Fleming - Best Man
Matt and Hugh met in high school and became quick friends. Eventually, they joined the same fraternity at CU and lived together sophomore through senior year, and for a few years after college too. A lot of nights were spent screaming at Colorado football and basketball on TV and in person, going out to bars, and overall just being weird and making other people uncomfortable. Hugh’s a great guy, and if you talk to him at the wedding, there’s a very good chance he’ll make you laugh!
Chris Johnson
Chris Johnson - Groomsman
When Chris started dating Matt’s older sister, Emily, in 2011, he immediately made a huge impact on Matt’s life. Chris, a former baseball player, started showing up with Emily to a lot of Matt’s games, not because he had to, but because he genuinely wanted to. From the baseball diamond to countless conversations about life over the years, Chris and Matt truly became brothers. These days you'll find them on the golf course together, with Matt's wallet a little heavier on the drive home.
Grant Evans
Grant Evans - Groomsman
Matt met Grant in 7th grade when Grant moved back to Colorado from Texas. They became friends fast and have stayed close ever since, going to school together from middle school through college, then living together for a few years after graduation. Matt and Grant have also been known to feed off each other, realizing they’re potentially annoying everyone around them, then choosing to lean in anyway as they keep riling each other up.
Jacob Goodman
Jacob Goodman - Groomsman
Jacob is Matt’s oldest friend, meeting on the first day of kindergarten. Jacob and Matt had every class together for the next six years and played baseball together for years after that, including throughout high school. From taking batting practice in the cage in Jacob’s family barn, to endless Rockies games, sleepovers, and laughs, Jacob has been around for 23 years. He knows way too much, has seen way too much, and somehow still sticks around.
Jacob Johnson
Jacob Johnson - Groomsman
Jacob and Matt met through their ladies, Maddie and Kelsey. They first met when Jacob came out to Denver, and they knew they’d get along when a song from NBA Street Volume 2 (a 2003 video game) came on and they both immediately started singing along. After a bunch of trips back and forth between Dallas and Denver that included Red Rocks concerts, Arkansas basketball games, and the highlight of their lives, Medieval Times (pictured above right after their knight was slain), Matt and Jacob became close friends. You're likely to find the two of them playing MLB the Show (another video game) pre- and post-wedding in Matt's hotel room.
Logan Greene
Logan Greene - Groomsman
Matt met Logan at a Greene family Christmas party just weeks after he and Maddie started dating. By the end of the night, after a few whiskey gingers each, Logan and Matt were dancing in the kitchen a little too close to the open stairway to the basement. Matt visited him at school in New York and caught two of his college hockey games, still one of Matt’s favorite memories with him. Since then, Logan has felt less like “Maddie’s little brother” and more like a true brother, whether Logan asked for that or not. When Logan hits the dance floor clear a little space and prepare to witness something a little unhinged.
Nick Thompson
Nick Thompson - Groomsman
Nick’s first memory of Matt is him showing up at a mutual friend’s house singing a very “enthusiastic” version of “Down” by Jay Sean. Somehow, despite that first impression, Matt and Nick quickly became close friends, helped along by the forced bonding of carpooling to practices together. They played basketball and baseball together in middle school, then baseball and football in high school, so there was basically no escaping each other. Nick has been there for Matt through everything, and he’s the kind of friend you can always count on for a real conversation, whether in Denver, back in Ohio, or down in Austin
Scott Englar
Scott Englar - Groomsman
Matt met Scott before he even started dating Matt’s sister Hannah, and he liked him pretty much right away. Matt knew for sure Scott was his kind of guy when they were at a bar and Scott suggested heading home to watch the new episode of Game of Thrones, paired with a comfy couch and a glass of red wine. Over the years, Matt and Scott truly became brothers through a lot of time together, a lot of laughs, and hundreds of rounds of board games where Matt has won… maybe three times. Scott is super goofy, always fun to be around, and somehow always has another hilarious YouTube video queued up and ready to go at all times.
Tyler Aikens
Tyler Aikens - Groomsman
Tyler and Matt rode the same bus to school freshman year of high school. After months of sitting across the aisle from each other (hood up, headphones in) they eventually started talking and things took off from there. Tyler and Matt ended up playing baseball together for the next four years at Arapahoe and were roommates their freshman year at CU. After that interesting year, they’ve stayed very close, seeing each other when Tyler comes down from Aspen (subtle brag, he is on the USA National Rafting Team). Per his bio on the team’s site, “Tyler enjoys eatin’ cheeseburgers, listen’ to music, and a good hat. ‘Nuff said see ya!!!”
Wylie Maloney
Wylie Maloney - Groomsman
Matt met Wylie the first week of freshman year at CU. It’s honestly kind of insane how quickly they got close, to the point where if they weren’t in class, they were probably hanging out in Matt's room. Wylie and Matt also joined the same fraternity, which made them even tighter during that time and in the years after. Wylie is the kind of guy who can get along with anyone and always shows up for the people he cares about. He’s genuinely one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, but if the situation calls for it, he can also be the enforcer of the group, thanks to a family background in Irish boxing and plenty of time training in the ring.
